About Your Photography Membership

While this is an open and accessible group, Gather Around Film is ideal for established film photographers and independent artists who have at least 2 years of experience with the medium. You’ll find primarily wedding photographers, but we also welcome photojournalists and cinematographers (we have quite a few Super 8 members). You should want to evolve your abilities while adding to the conversation. This keeps the conversations deep with less of: “How do I begin?” and more of, “Where do I go from here?”

We have a simple, human-reviewed application process. First, complete this form and answer a few questions about yourself and your work. Within 2-3 business days, your application will be reviewed by our moderators. Once you’ve been accepted, you’ll receive an approval notification with information on how to finalize your subscription. Then, look forward to a welcome video and checklist to show you around and help you feel at home.

As soon as your membership is active, you’ll gain 24/7 access to all (yes, all)of the resources in our community. This includes all previously recorded Artist Talks, roundtable discussions, film tutorials, and more. Our easy-to-use app (download that here) keeps all these invaluable resources at your fingertips anytime you need them, whether it’s on your mobile device, laptop, or tablet.

As long as you want it too! We offer annual and month-to-month subscription options to accommodate your needs and goals. When you’re ready to leave (or just need to take a break), you can cancel through Mighty Networks here. Simply go to your account admin management and cancel.
